Hi everybody I'm new to the forum and thought I'd start a new thread and introduce myself.

I love brain teasers so here is one I've always been fond of:

A commuter arrives at the local train station each day at 5:00 pm and his wife is always there to drive him home. But one day he catches an earlier train, getting into the station at 4. It’s a lovely day so he starts walking and meets his wife on her way to the station. They get home ten minutes earlier than usual, so how long did he walk before his wife picked him up?

    Give up?

If his wife saved ten minutes off her usual drive, then she met him five minutes early at 4:55 and turned right around. Since the husband started walking at 4:00. he would have been walking for 55 minutes by the time she picked him up.

    Very good Noggin,
Now reading between the lines, Hubbie normally fills in the hour at the office gettin' funky with his secretary.

How long 'til the wifey finds out?
