What sorts of jobs can you get in Philosophy? Now I know the typical response is "teaching," but what types of teaching? There are many different types of teaching you know. Anything you can throw out at me, any links, or ANYTHING would be useful to me and many members of this forum. So please, shed me your wisdom.
I am going to graduate in 1 year with my BA in Philosophy. Do you think writing or focusing on a certain thesis/subject could give me an edge to pursue another field or perhaps go on to further schooling i.e. Grad School or Professional? Many thanks.

You chose the major field of study in philosophy without knowing anything about the careers that you might pursue?

With a BA in philosophy, you might, maybe, qualify to flip burgers at MacDonald's.

I was going to ask the same thing.
