Try out my self-test experiment (http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/experiment)just for the sake of spiritual (http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/spiritual)discernment (http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/discernment):

Picture in your mind that two commanding officers of opposing armies have their own camp (http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/camp). Each camp has loyalists (http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/loyalist) or traitors (http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/traitor). Each commanding officer draws a sword in the sand to divide which soldiers belong to their camp.

Experiment:

Draw a figure of a sword (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sword)with a vertical (http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/vertical) and horizontal (http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/horizontal)axis (http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/axis) Imagine that each axis extends into infinity (http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/infinity) Observe that each axis comprise four quadrants (http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/quadrant) (i.e. Top Left & Right vs. Bottom Left & Right) In the Top Right quadrant write the name Jesus (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jesus) In the Top left quadrant wirte the name Satan (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Satan) Next, move to the bottom half of the quadrant Insert words from a hot or cold (http://www.hti.umich.edu/cgi/k/kjv/kjv-idx?type=simple&format=Long&q1=know+thy+works%2C+that+thou+art+neither+&restrict=All&size=First+100) list that has diametric (http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/diametric) meaning Avoid placing any word on both the left and right side

If you find a word that fits on both sides of the bottom half quadrant, then you have made an error. The latter forces an Either/Or (http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/either_fish_or_cut_bait) answer

Here is the list of hot or cold words to start with. You may modify the list to make it longer or shorter. Create your own spiritual diametrics. It doesn't matter.

good/evil love/hate right/wrong true/false curse/bless low/high reward/punish conceal/show condemn/forgive lost/save hurt/help death/life carnal/spirit injust/just prosecute/defend borrow/lend bury/resurrect war/peace argue/agree captive/free give/take judge/judge not leaven/unleaven join/divide create/destroy
