I once read a SciFi book about a world run by a corrupted Theocracy(Angel('s) was in the name of the orginization I believe) and a man was trying to reveal to the world the truth about this.

I know that's not much to go on, but does anyone recall this book Title and or Author? I thought it was Heinlein, but after looking at my personel library and a web search I didn't find anything conclusive. I am pretty sure it was one of the big names in classic American SciFi. I read it in the late 70's early 80's.

You're right, it is Heinlein, and it is called 'Revolt in 2100', and is part of Heinlein's Future History series of short stories.
