A great difference is Sciforums is much much faster to download the webpage.

What is the speed of the server? Pentium 4 2GHz?

thats cos it based on quantum computing architectures with the latest improvements in quantum error correction codes installed.this might be a bit hard to comprehend but it can factor a 512-bit product of two primes (RSA-155) in 8400 MIPS years

around these parts we use pentiums as doorstops

does sciforums has enough fund to sustain ?

what is the annual cost?

i couldnt say for sure what it costs the operator. he hangs out at
freeway exits begging for loose change to keep this place going

why we had to give up on all kinda cool stuff like avatars and whatnot to keep that monstrosity of a computer at sub zero temps

;)

Welcome to sciforums, Seeker01.

There are many forums out there. None that I have found that I like as well as sciforums.

Regarding the banning of Futurist from Physicsforums:

I found that Sciforums resembles http://www.tech-forums.net/index.php?s= very much.

who copies whose design ?

:D

Well, we both use the same forum software. But I don't see how you could think the designs are in any way 'similar'

The way they operate are very similar.

They have avatar, but we don't.

avatars maybe not but signature would be cool to have back.

Avatar fades away in thoughts of better times (past or future, whatever)
