Hey you guys. This is the semi-official thread for the sciforums arsenal. That means it is a collective thread for people whom enjoy making up scifi weapons. If you have seen my own previous creations any others I make will be posted on this thread. If anyone out there is interested in making their own weapons, guns, missiles, turrets, warships, etc. Here is a good place to post them. You will notice that I use a 3D engineering program, you do not need one of these and I honestly cannot help you with getting one. I recieved mine only because of a competition I participated in which has since closed. And they do cost a lot of money. What would be preferable is for you to sketch your design and scan it to this website (what you do is scan the picture, save it, than go to your control panel and click "edit albums and pictures" make your own album and than upload it. Than click on the picture in the album and it will give you a link to use for the image. It sounds somewhat complex but once you do it you never forget). You can also use microsoft paint. But you do not technically need a picture, but you should have a pretty accurate description of it's function and purpose, and how it looks. If you want to you can ask other members to make your weapon using a 3D design program. But there are no rules on this so it is up to you and said member to decide on design and other things. And the other member does have the option of declining. Three rules: 1.) The weapon/device cannot be super strong/invincible. 2.) No argueing the physics about how a weapon works unless it is ridiculously unrealistic, it's scifi. 3.) No argueing who makes better weapons or what not.
Singularity turret MK1: I made this using my previous singularity cannon MK1. I basically made a turret, and an optic system, and than used part of the program to assemble the three together. But what you see is not a single part but four parts (one turret assembly, one optic assembly, two singularity cannons) put together. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! An orgasmatronic ray cannon that makes all people or aliens it shoots at horney as hell which make them want to have sex instead of fighting with whoever has the ray cannon. I do not have a picture of it but I'm sure someone can draw it up. It would look like a dildo I'd think.
