I was just wondering around the forums when I suddenly found out that Happeh was banned. So I ended up coming up with an idea (besides permanent banning :D). Why don't we have a section about news in the forums? Like milestones of people, birthdays and the occasional banning... :D

It could be like those newstickers or whatever. We could bid on them just like investors do... :D

I wouldn't suggest having Bans or other negative inputs into any feed, the main problem is people would then be attempting to achieve the ranks of Infamy as apposed to actual discussion which a forum is suppose to be about.

The other problem with news in itself is what type of news would you believe appropiate?

Also note that News is usually about reporting events, you mention birthdays however they aren't really the fabric of the forums, what is?
