Here is an evidence, or even a proof, that Science, Religion and Pscychology are all talking about the same thing:

The "Coincidence":

Science talks about Conscient and Subconscient. Somehow, the subconscient creates the reality of the conscient. The conscient have free will but in some way the subconscient molds the beliefs of the conscient.

Pscychology talks about Ego and Highter Self (Junguian Pscychology, to be more specific). It says that the Highter Self is our true self, that creates our reality according to our beliefs. We, as ego, have free will, but it's dictated by our Highter Self.

Religions talks about Gods and Humans. It says that God is a Highter Being which dictates what we will happen in despite of the fact we have free will. According to Religion, God created our reality.

Do you see any connection here?

There is a connection between all Science, Religion and Pscychology. This is it:

It seems, by each ones definition that it matches...

I think that with religion, psychology and science ARE talking about exactly the same thing, they just all do it in a different way:

-Religion: Religious people believe in some sort of higher power, energy and spirit.
-Psychology uses this spirit/energy with helping and studying the human mind.
-Science do research to this energy, they want to find out what it is, how it works etc.

so in fact, you are a believer, you'll be religious, you are practical, you support psychology, when you are inquisitive, you'll be a scientist.

Ok, I know, it is a little bit easy to say this last thing...
But we should realise that science is in fact looking for one thing, some small/big form of energy that is in the basics of the whole universe and all phusic-laws.
IF scientists ever find that, they will have found the thing religious people believe in, and psychologists use.
(is it coincidence that GUT and GOD are rather similar words:))
