Do you agree that the amount of money given to SF funding to keep this website alive follow an exponentially declining function that seems to have a limit somewhere around to 220's....? Or is this rather a sine function?

Wouldn't a sine function involve donaters taking their money back?

well if you work on the theory that when we download a page we are taking back what we payed for, then yes.

but anyway, ive just got to set up a foreign bank thingy with my bank, then ill up it another $50

I think that when the total funding is low people feel guilty and pay up, otherwise people feel that people are doing it for them and don't donate

I remember a story of a college student who got a popular column writer to request just a penny from the readers to help pay his tutition... he ended up with $28,000 in less than a month.

    Maybe we can do that

    Sin(x) + 1

    Lowest point is 0.

    I guess what he means is a sine function of the form a*sin(f(x)) + 220 - a = p

    Or just whatever.
