hello friends of Biology,

recently a new experiment has started on sciforums called sciforums Encyclopedia.
See the explanation here:
http://www.sciforums.com/showthread.php?t=63729

I have already started several biology topics and I invite you to help me make them good (I can't do that myself) or come up with new topics.

Here is a list of biology articles so far:
regeneration
tooth development
tooth
blastema or Regeneration blastema
evolution
mutation
intelligent design
natural selection
stem cell
cell

Excellent articles! I added "single cell organisms" along with viruses to the evolution article. If you disagree, just change it back, but I'd be interested in any criticism. If so, please post a reply here, or start a thread, as who knows when - or if - I'll ever visit the article again (talk section). I may add something about stem cells in cnidarians, such as hydra. Those little critters have always fascinated me. The ectodermis contains stem cells that regenerate the entire organism in 3-4 days, including stem cells that differentiate into the nerve net and even into the stinger nematocytes that eventually then migrate to the end of the tentacles. Have to review my notes.
