you can start with these threads anyhow. I cant htink of anyone really new, ive read 3 newish books in the last month.
Richard Morgan- "altered Carbon"
robert Reed- "Marrow"
Adam Roberts- "ON"

Of these, On was the better I htink, it was more original, good characters, bit odd, but then thats half the point. I was dissapointed with Altered carbon, it got lots of plaudits, but wasnt anything more than a noir detective story set 400 years in the future with fancy technology. I mean its well enough written, but not special. Marrow was good, maybe characters a bit poor, but worth reading for the setting, same with ON.
