I watched this show that came on after the X-Files, way back when, but I can't remember what it was called. It had this guy in it, and he worked for the government, and he was somehow responsible for a massive epidemic.
They liked to show his wife coughing and looking bloody cause that's what epidemics do to your wife. Back then, it was always on waaay past my bedtime, on Sundays no less, so I don't know what happened.

Does anyone know if the man got to save the world?

[edit]
Oh, and it had this weird supernatural tone to it. Like forces of evil vs. good, kind of like Steven King's Stand. And the lead actor was ugly and pitfaced.

Jeez you make me feel old Roman! You're thinking of the excellent show Millennium, starring Lance Henriksen.

As I remember, the end of the series left you hanging about many things. But the good news is, it is available (or soon will be) on DVD!

It, like so many other good shows on Fox, died prematurely.

Fox cancels all their Science Fiction based shows. I don't even know why they try.

Fox has canned:
Firefly
Millennium
Harsh Realm
Strange World
Sliders (Got picked up by scifi channel, but ended up getting canceled again)
Wonderfalls
Tru Calling
John Doe
Futurama

And since Fox owns UPN we can also count:
Cleopatra 2525
Star Trek: Entersuck
Jack of all Trades
The New Twilight Zone

Fox sucks. UPN sucks. Hell, NBC sucks for ditching Once and Again (Or whatever the fuck it's called, I can't remember right now - it was about a guy who died and came back as a cyborg).

You only left off Brimstone (http://www.tvtome.com/tvtome/servlet/ShowMainServlet/showid-204/Brimstone/) . Only the good die young.

Here's a good summary of Millennium (http://www.tvtome.com/Millennium/) for you Roman.

I hated Brimstone, which is why I couldn't remember it. I also left off Babylon 5. But that was picked up by TNT, so it's all good.

I'm not a big TV buff. I only saw a few episodes from a few of those shows, but I recall that some of them were really quite good. Like Sliders. I thought Babylon 5 was part of the Star Trek continuum until last month, though. Bbut what I recall seeing I liked.
Was Firefly the show where it was ok to be a prostitute? I saw a bit of that on DVD.
The music for Millenium was pretty sweet, as I recall. The intro music.
X-Files was ran into the ground by Fox (unfortunately). That was definite sci-fi. They should have cut Carter off at season 3 or 4.

But I haven't heard of half those shows....

Thanks for that link, Repo.

Fox should have stuck with its original creation: Married With Children.

Fox should have stuck with its original creation: Married With Children. The greatest sci fi series ever made. :D Okay don't everybody get upset I'm only kidding. Though with all of the prediciments that Al Bundy found himself in well his life could have been a ten year long episode of The Twilight Zone.
