FBI is investigating the payments high saudi officials and members of the royal familly have made to two of the 11/9 terrorists and to fundamentalists in general.

While I do believe that the Saudi government does not WANT to sponsor terrorism, I think that they are blackmailed by the fundamentalist northern tribe in the country, to buy peace inside the country so that the royal familly can continue their decadent western lifestyle.....

Much talk has been done about Afghanistan, but Saudi Arabia, with all them holy places and the origin of islamic believe is really the eye of the storm and an ambiguous ally at best.

BTW: it was good timing of the American administration to emberass the saudi's at this time, because they refused to let the usa use Airports etc for the upcoming war against iraq.

What do you think?

From what I can tell:
Saudia Arabia is a breeding ground for religious fanatics. Its culture is based on repression. Basically, it sucks.

Should anyone do anything about it? I dunno, what are you gonna do? Bomb them?

Saudi Arabia openly supports terrorists and other monsters. How can I say this? Because Saudi Arabia houses and protects Idi Amin. Not only that, but it's generally a crappy country. For example, women face much worse conditions there than they do in Iraq. The USA has 29 treaties with Saudi Arabia that I could find.

They want everyone else to burn and then have their ashes urinated upon, they just know they would get blown out of the water if they made it official.

Sadly, if we did anything right now they would play sympathetic like a puppy that just ate a shoe. Everyone would turn against us (even moreso) and that would obviously be BAD.
