I am having major internet problems since catching the Sandbox virus. I can rarely access more than one or two pages before IE crashes.

I used Trends Housecall to discover the virus. Housecall removed most of the virus. However copies exist in C\_restore\temp and archive. Housecall can't remove them because they are actively being used by the computer.

I went into safe mode and to regedit. I intended to locate and remove the remaining files. However I can't find them in the location indicated by Housecall. Where else might they be stored or identified???

Help!!!!!!!! I am getting major crashes within Internet Explorer. I can still access mail and non-internet programs. But I am losing my ability to use the websites on the internet.....

Any ideas how I can solve this problem?????

First of all, don't use IE, it is the stupidest piece of crap ever.

Go to www.mozilla.org and use Mozilla, it will be a hundred times better than IE.

Download Norton Antivirus from Kazaa or another P2P.

    Thanks!!!

I downloaded Mozilla. Apparantly, Sandbox doesn't affect Mozilla. I will try housecall one more time and see if the remaining files are no longer in use. If so, I will remove them now.

    Thanks again!
