Why in the hell can't American teas taste this good? I got to try this at a friend's house last week. He brought it back from an overseas vacation, so no permanent supplier. Sainsbury's does not distribute to the U.S. (I contacted the company) - anyone across the pond feel like being a Good Samaritan? :m: Peace.
Cant you get tetleys or pg tips in the states? I hate to say it but there both a decent brew, better than the instore varieties imho prob because of the pyramid shaped bags or something

Tetleys tea in the U.S. is, as far as I am concerned, very one-dimensional. I've never heard of PG tips. :m: Peace.
Red Label tea brand is also imported from India, try that to see if it suits your taste. It is not the same brand though but India is known to make some killer tea.
Never heard of PG tips? ... i just found a site where you can but 40 bags of imported PG tips for $16 what a ripoff! If you have tetleys in the states do you have the comercials? The PG tips ones use to have chimps in them but animal rights or some arse changed that there just animated birds now and they generally suck! Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! goofy: I could ship you over some, but is it really worth the hassle?? I assume you took it without milk?
tea isn't grown in the us. wrong climate. if you're refering to american based companies, i'd also hit my buzzer at this point. i favor a boston distributer, but again, none of it is american. perhaps you are drinking your tea in bags which is a mistake. try www.adagio.com or www.tealuxe.com for american based mail order teas
in the new york area, you can also get fantastic tea in chinatown....or for the culturally homogenous step into it slowly by trying pearl river mart first (very whitebread friendly).
