Well After his hanging the violence wasn't nearly as bad as expected.

Was it the fear of cowardly insurgents who didn't want to attack when the US was expecting it?

Or was Saddam's influence and inspiration not as wide spread and strong as some had previously thought?


To the majority of Iraqi's what do you think the lasting memory of Saddam will be? Tyrant, Leader, or something in between?

The majority of Iraqis? I don't think there is such a thing!

The nation is divided between Sunnis, Shiites and Kurds (with a sprinkling of Christians). The Sunnis are killing the Shiites, the Shiites are killing the Sunnis, everyone is trying to kill the Kurds, and no one seems to give a shit about the few Christians .....and with all of that, you think one can even speak of "...the majority of Iraqis..."????
