In the eventual attack on Iraq the US may use a few different ways of attacking. The most likely is a direct strike on Baghdad with troops, supported by a massive air armada.
With Iraqi chemical and biological weapon stores, and the Republican Guard units, Saddam may very well fight in Baghdad to the death. Similar to Stalin, in Stalingrad. I could see street to street fighting with chemical and bio weapons being used against American troops.
The reason we haven't attacked yet is because the bio-chemical weapons suits worn by US troops are so bulky that they are much too hot to wear in the summer. The attack on Iraq will come in the winter when its cooler.
Military planning influenced by fashion and the weather -- who'd a thunk it?
