Simply I think this thread should cover the things that are "Sad, but True".
Sad in this instance doesn't refer to how upset a person might be, but is a reference to how silly something is.

What I suggest is if people out there on their surfing trips across the internet come across something thats "Sad" in this way, you should post it here to this thread.
