View Full Version : SNL Cast Member Poll reformedtopunk 01-02-03, 10:12 PM Help solve a dispute i was having with some friends. out of the choices given, who was the funniest SNL cast member? Adam Sandler, Dan Ackroyd, Chris Farley, or Dana Carvey? NightFall 01-02-03, 11:48 PM i think adam sandler is easier to relate to, put dana carvey is better at what he does... but i still like sandler better, so i voted for him. plus, i dont have damn clue who dan acroyd is, and chris farley was down right annoying as hell. reformedtopunk 01-03-03, 12:19 AM I concur Nightfall, Sandler was who i was arguing for. Dan Ackroyd was an original cast member. ever seen coneheads? He was The guy conehead. Farley was funny sometimes...like in tommy boy. UberDragon 01-03-03, 01:11 AM I chose Dana Carvey because of The Pepper Boy sketch. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Fresh-a pepper?" NightFall 01-03-03, 01:27 AM Dan Ackroyd was an original cast member. ever seen coneheads? He was The guy conehead. Farley was funny sometimes...like in tommy boy. nope. never seen coneheads.... wait.. maybe a couple minutes passing through the rom or something..... never saw tommy boy... but i have a clip fome it of my t.v. love, david spade.... -drools-.. oh how i love skinny white boys... lol... :p lixluke 01-03-03, 03:02 AM was david spade on snl? hes pretty funny. eddie murphy, john belushi Pollux V 01-03-03, 08:18 AM David Spade was funny but he always came off as a major asshole. Maybe it was intentional. I'd go for Ackroyd, the Wild and Crazy Guy skits were awesome. reformedtopunk 01-03-03, 10:15 AM was david spade on snl? yeah, he was. at the same time as chris farley and eddie murphy and adam sandler. Spade is hillarious. "and you are...?" *laughs* static76 01-03-03, 11:57 AM I found Dana Carvey the funniest...Hes was in the Wayne's World, Church Lady, and Hans And Franz skits. Tyler 01-03-03, 12:20 PM Carvey. Probably the best impressionist the show has ever had. Though, and I say this as much as the show is now in a downfall, Darrel Hammond is quite good. ralph nader 01-04-03, 06:59 PM YOURE GONNA FIND YOURSELF LIVING IN A VAN, DOWN BY THE RIVER! Thor 01-04-03, 07:23 PM Chris Farely, may he rest in peace I loved Beverly Hills Ninja and his role in Waynes World %BlueSoulRobot% 01-04-03, 07:57 PM Dana Carvey, yeah. Chris Farley was overused I think, as the "Hi, I'm fat and stupid" guy who freaked out a lot. Adam Sandler ... I've seen those interviews with him on talk shows like Leno, and he's ok. He on the border. And I haven't seen anything with Dan Ackroyd except the bit with the Coneheads, and that was kind of funny. "Mmmmm...chicken embryos..." :D David Spade was like the small obnoxious guy, hehe. However, I am appalled that no one has mentioned Phil Hartman! If he was as good as he was on Newsradio, then my vote would go wholeheartedly to Phil Hartman ... but for now I vote for Dana Carvey. :) %BlueSoulRobot% 01-04-03, 07:57 PM Originally posted by ralph nader YOURE GONNA FIND YOURSELF LIVING IN A VAN, DOWN BY THE RIVER! LOL!! I remember that! :D reformedtopunk 01-04-03, 08:21 PM Chris Farley was overused I think, as the "Hi, I'm fat and stupid" guy who freaked out a lot I dunno about on SNL, but in the movies he did with david spade he was hillarious. Tommy Boy, Black Sheep...they were all awesome! %BlueSoulRobot% 01-04-03, 08:23 PM Yeah, the movies were great. :D RIP Chris Farley :( RIP Phil Hartman too :( jesuspresley 01-04-03, 09:07 PM of the four listed, i'd choose dan ackroyd; but i think both eddie murphy and phil hartman were funnier. %BlueSoulRobot% 01-04-03, 09:37 PM Yes Phil Hartman rocks! :D He was great as Bill Clinton and Jesus, and voice for Lionel Hutz and Troy McClure, lol lixluke 01-05-03, 02:10 AM dan ackroyd is funny as hell. i voted 4 him bcaus hes one of the ghost busters. Squid Vicious 01-05-03, 06:00 AM You know you're getting old when nobody remembers "The Blues Brothers" anymore. Lykan 01-05-03, 08:37 AM Chris Farley. reformedtopunk 01-05-03, 09:28 AM You know you're getting old when nobody remembers "The Blues Brothers" anymore. Those movies were awesome! Even Blues Brothers 2000 with John Goodman was good! |
