Is it possible to set the display to greyscale in w2k? It's a lot easier on the eyes.

I noticed when a friend was shutting down winXP that the background went grey. Looks nice.

Yeah, the backgorund goes gray when logging off and restarting. But I believe that is an XP only feature and it only happens when doing that and changing the skins of the windows.

Try adjusting your monitor settings, there's usually a colour settiing, just turn it down until it goes gray

I have a laptop so that isn't possible unfortunatly. Thanks though. Keep any more suggestions coming.

I've got an iBook and its really easy to do it on that. But I couldn't really help you :P
