Michigan GOP leader wants Paul barred from future debates

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — The chairman of the Michigan Republican Party said Wednesday that he will try to bar Ron Paul from future GOP presidential debates because of remarks the Texas congressman made that suggested the Sept. 11 attacks were the fault of U.S. foreign policy.

Michigan party chairman Saul Anuzis said he will circulate a petition among Republican National Committee members to ban Paul from more debates. At a GOP candidates' debate Tuesday night, Paul drew attacks from all sides, most forcefully from former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani, when he linked the terror attacks to U.S. bombings.

"Have you ever read about the reasons they attacked us? They attack us because we've been over there. We've been bombing Iraq for 10 years," Paul said.

Anuzis called the comments "off the wall and out of whack."

"I think he would have felt much more comfortable on the stage with the Democrats in what he said last night. And I think that he is a distraction in the Republican primary and he does not represent the base and he does not represent the party," Anuzis said during an RNC state leadership meeting.

Bullshit! The people said Ron Paul won Both the MSNBC debates & the Fox News Debates. Until they tamperd with the results. Our political process is scripted and corrupt beyond repair.

I think I'm pretty much finished with Politics. I'm just going to treat it like Professional Wrasslin;) And enjoy it for the scripted Entertainment it really is.

Now on to Ron Paul! He absolutely owned the MSNBC Republican debate. He lead the polls all night for winning the debate. However, the next day they announced that Mitt Romney won after all the votes were tallied BULLSHIT!

And last night, Ron Paul wiped the floor with the other candidates. And the best thing was hearing Sean Hannity (After he called Ron Paul every derogatory name in the book) had to annouce that Ron Paul was winning the debate. After the debate, they interviewd EVERY candidate, but Ron Paul. They saved him for last. It was 2:00 Eastern Time before they interviewed him.

Then all of the sudden, Ron Paul's percentage stagnated, while Rudy McRomneys escalated? BULLSHIT!

They might as well have Mean Gene Okerland moderating the debates. Because the fix is in. And powers that be want Ron Paul out. This media Blackout is very disheartening.

This is a sad day in America. It's one thing to be tricked with Voting Machines with no verifiable record. But it's another thing for them to blatantly blackout the leading Republican candidate, because he doesn't harbor imperialistic motivations like Rudy McRomney.

I like Paul. However, there are a lot factors as to his reportedly winning the debate last night.

Don't blame Hannity for tactics made famous by NBC, CBS, & ABC. Consider how specific candidates are treated on these networks, consider how specific issues are discussed. This has been going on for a long time.

I think Paul brings up some great ideas, but clearly the time has passed for where blame should be laid. It is time for solutions. Withdrawal is not an option, The time now is to settle whatever it is that needs to be settled. Then, in the future we can start to think about different alternatives to committing ourselves to total war (I used that term loosely). But now is the time to win whatever needs to be won, then we can start an open and honest debate about future situations that are similiar.

I think this is Rudy and Sean's issue. They may be overly patriotic here, but I think their position is at this point we should be focused on the task at hand. We can deal with the other stuff later. This does not mean Rudy and Sean would endorse Paul's idea on the issue when the task is completed, but let us focus on the task first.

We don't have enough boots on the ground to Win Iraq. Colin Powell said we'd need 250,000 troops to secure Iraq before the invasion. We've lost 3400 soldiers! Pull them out now, and carpet bomb that shit hole of a place.

Ron Paul is the best candidate I've heard in years.....finally there's someone who speaks without agenda...I hear every other candidate speaking carefully just to not offend the public...wtf

Also Ron Paul's statements about foreign policy causing 9/11 is backed up the 9/11 commission report....
