Not pissed as in intoxicated, but pissed as in very angry. Even as the results are coming in from Florida, no mention has been made of Ron Paul by NBC, at least.

Some clever person on Youtube has summed up the spirit of his campaign with the following video. I myself disagree with Paul on almost everything except Iraq and 9-11, but the following is still worth watching:

Sorry to say he was just too weird and creepy to ever be taken seriously.

The peace-at-any-price crowd hijacked his campaign.:(

I'm not sure why you would call this a capture of the spirit of Paul's campaign Lord Hillyer.

Paul never wanted to be POTUS:

Too bad all those who donated to his campaign didn't know this. :(

That was back in 2006 before he was convinced by his supporters to run. And I think it's admirable. Someone shouldn't desire specifically to be the president of the US but instead desire to fix or better the country.

I'm still going to keep donating. :)

Why?

Some people think he may run a third-party ticket. Doesn't matter. He still won't win.

Why?

I don't really know. After all, his chances of getting the nomination are very very very slim, and I know for a fact that a third party run would be a waste of time. I guess you can call it foolish hope or loyalty if you'd like. I just personally feel like I have to support this guy till he quits, no matter what. He's the first person that I actually unabashedly want to win, not some lesser evil.

EDIT: I also would like some of his ideas to become more mainstream and him still being in the running will help to do that.

He wants to cut and run from Iraq and gut our military. CCRs will NEVER go for that.

Maybe, maybe not. Many Christians are fans of a non-interventionist policy. It's certainly more Christian than the policy we have now.

I like some of Paul's mesage but so what? The press did not ignore him. The press will spend hours and days on any subject from Janet's 2 second nipple flasht to months on daddy's dead white cute princess in Aruba. The press follows the stories the public will watch....RATINGS!

Paul doesn't own the press and the press has no obligation to him. Paul has some attributes but being a cry baby isn't one of them.

Gut our military?

Eliminating outposts around the globe and buliding up our homeland troop numbers ready and able to defend our homeland is hardly gutting our military.

I'd love to see some evidence that Dr. Paul would cut our military forces, as opposed to simply moving them back home from Europe and Asia.

Surely having the troops at home instead of abroad is much cheaper and is what Paul envisions will be the bulk of the savings.

So we should just let the evil muslim terrorists bring the war back here so they can kill our troops AND innocent civilians?

I'm afraid you and I can't have this conversation sandy. We have fundamental disagreements on what the cause of terrorism is, and who the terrorists are. To you, the answer to your question would be yes. To me, the answer to your question would be no.

You would save huge amounts of money by eliminating our overseas military posts, and we would be able to use our troops to guard our borders and our shores from ivaders. Also, I'd guess that Dr. Paul would cut funding for idiotic weapon systems that have little to no practical value.

My answer would be "Oh, HELL no!"
