Polls opened at 7 a.m. but more than a million ballots had already been cast. The contest offers the winner the state's 57 delegates to GOP nominating convention and serves as a gateway to the 20-plus states with nominating contests on Feb. 5.

I wonder if they've learned how to vote down there yet.

Tangent: I wish they'd abolish this winner take all system to make the process more democratic.

They're saying the race is thisclose. I think Giuliani and Huckabee will be gone after this and it will be a two-man race between McCain and Romney.
Romney will win and be our new POTUS. YAY! :yay:

I don't want Romney to win as much as I want McCain to lose... so if Romney walks away with Florida I'll be happy. :)

It doesn't matter, they will both lose.

If Obama gets the nomination, yes. But it's still unclear who the winner in the general will be if Hillary does.

The polls I've checked show McCain with a 1 point margin over Romney right now, so I'd say it's too close to call at this point. Guiliani is done, so it will be interesting to see where his votes go on Super Tuesday. Huckabee will get a strong showing in some of the bible belt states, but I don't think anybody much cares for him outside of the South.

I just can't bring myself to like McCain (mean spirited RINO) or Romney (Too slick, and he's from Mass.).

Who running isn't a 'RINO'?

Who supports traditional republican platform positions such as abolishing the department of education or throwing out roe vs wade?

It will be Romney vs. Hillary. Romney will win.
