i disagree. Jimi's alot of wha and fuzz, Page and Richards studio work is more creative.

Yeah, a lot of names that shouldn't be on there, and a LOT of names not even on that list that should be in the top 20.

Yeah...I wouldn't read that. I tends to get one's blood pretty riled up. It was posted here before and pretty much the same things happened which is happening now; disgust and disbelief.

I know music is subjective and open to interpretation but that list is fucked up.

yeah, i look at "The Song Remains The Same" disk and say based on that alone he should be at #1.

ive just seen that adam jones is all the way down at 75..wtf!!!! and just listen to crush of love by satriani and then try and justify why he is not in the top 100..the same goes for tender surrender by vai

i personally think that as with the rolling stones, keith richards is way overhyped. i find listening to their music completely nausiating

Johnny Marr of the Smiths would easily be in my top three. That he does not make the Rolling Stone list at all is absolutely ridiculous. Then again, I would also place Lee Ranaldo (33), Thurston Moore (34), Tom Verlaine (56), and Kevin Shields (95) much higher on my list. And I am not a fan of anything he does, but I would argue that Trey Anastasio (73) deserves to be much further up on anyone's list.
