Brilliant movie. Plain and simple. This was one of the best movies I have seen come out in a long, long time.

Anyway, there's only a couple of things I wanted to mention

    - Tom Hanks restores himself as one of the best actors in the world
    - Paul Newman is a brilliant actor
    - Jude Law is an under-rated actor
    - There was one scene where Tom Hanks kills a man in a very important part of the movie. Hanks walks up to the man and pulls the trigger. It's raining outside and it's dark. Hanks pulls the trigger. You see the gunfire. But, the camera is focused solely on Hanks' face. For the first time I have ever seen in a movie a man was killed and the camera focused only on the shooter. Not even a single movement of the camera, just a shot of Hanks' face and all the emotions he goes through as the viewer assumes he didn't miss his mark from 4 feet away. I loved it.

Ok Tyler, you have convinced me to go see it. A friend of mine told me last night that it was ok, but hanks can't pull off the 'bad guy' role. However, this guy also loved forrest gump
