I've heard of this game..But when you get down to the nitty gritty, civ 3 and europa universalis II -- especially other games like go or chess -- need more than aesthetics to beat.

Civ 3 freaking sucks!!!!! There is one and only one game on the planet worthy of play. Civilization 2!!!!!!!! That's it. Nothing else. Everything is bullshit. Well maybe Fifa 1999.

Civ 2...was easy. I admit there were many good, fun parts to it. And the developers of civ 3 focused a bit too greatly on graphics..But civ 3 is still superior.

Had they actually incorporated enough of the good parts to civ 2, along with the other advice from the community, it would have been amazing. I'll guess we'll just have to wait until civ 4.

 

Civ3 is great, definitely need Play the World expansion pack, and a new pack is coming out. But, to make the game great, you need the mod Double your pleasure. It makes civ3 what it should have been. Download the mod, much more challenging and intricate: civ3.bernskov.com/

 

RoN is an alright game. But it can get quite repetitive quickly.

Annoys me you can only have 200 people tops.
