Although I don't usually post in here, I read WE&P enough to get a sense that the forum now has a greater number of more conservative posters.

What would you say you are, black/white terms, no grey area: left-wing liberal or right-wing conservative?

I've been really wondering about the forum for a while, and now my curiosity has got the best of me...

What definition do you have of right-wing and left-wing?

I find that the definitions differ from country to country. In the USA, Liberal usually equates "Democrat" while Conservative usually equates "Republican".

But here in Denmark, most of the political spectrum would be said to beling to the left wing segment.

I hate the damn Republicans. They're just too liberal and left-wing.

And I can't vote with such options. Few people would label me a conservative because of my stance on drug laws, sex laws, and so forth.

I am right-wing though. Very far to the right. ;) Libertarian. :)

Neither... not following US definition of right/left-wing.
In France I am on the right side but that means in the middle or just at the beginning of the right in USA.

Note : I think that there was a thread about it a few weeks ago... ;)
