Excellent, excellent movie. Brilliant ending.
I saw The Fellowship of the Ring Extended Edition at 1:30pm, The Two Towers Extended Edition at 6pm, and Return of the King at 10:30pm.
Did anyone else that did the trilogy get the gift package? It is thingy with three individual frames, one from each movie reel, embedded in some hardened clay. It is about 8" x 4". Very nice of New Line Cinema. :)

I enjoyed it as well, but not as much as the Fellowship. Which
part of the ending did you consider 'brilliant' ? I thought it was
somewhat formulaic.

Great, great movie! Can't wait to see it again, and even better, see the Extended Version. I felt that there wasn't as much detail as I had liked, although I realize that others may think that there was too much battle and not enough story during the third. "Return of the King" is shorter than the other two, isn't it?
I really hope that "The Hobbit" will be made.
I was extremely happy with how Peter Jackson put the end together. Return of the King was just one of those movies that left me feeling so satisfied and happy. The ending was a little drawn out, but it put together nicely for a satisfying crunch. I cant wait to see it agian!!!!
