Restaurant "Lille Buddha" in Tromsų, Norway, is said to have kept leftovers of rice that guests had not finished and served the leftovers to other guests.

19 year old Jostein Gjerdrum who worked as a waiter at the restaurant for a short period of time, says "The manager told us to put the leftover rice that guests had not finished into a bowl next to the sink. Later, the rice was reheated in the microwave and served to other guests."

Gjerdrum told the local newspaper that customers who ordered coke were served a mixture of dregs from bottles of Pepsi and Coca Cola, as the manager had told the staff to do this.

what about serving the leftovers to the homeless people ? wouldn't that be ultimate "basic welfare" neo-conservative program ? In this way money can be saved as opposed to buying food for the homeless, with this saved money, tax-cuts can be financed....BURRRPPP

or we could just eat the homless. thus not having to pay for so much food as we need less cause we have a new food source and theres less people to feed. w/ the saved money we could finanse... uh.... stuff. i guess.

whatever.

Alot of restaraunts give left over food to the homeless. Publix use to do that because they would close for the weekend.
