Restaurant "Lille Buddha" in Tromsų, Norway, is said to have kept leftovers of rice that guests had not finished and served the leftovers to other guests.
19 year old Jostein Gjerdrum who worked as a waiter at the restaurant for a short period of time, says "The manager told us to put the leftover rice that guests had not finished into a bowl next to the sink. Later, the rice was reheated in the microwave and served to other guests."
Gjerdrum told the local newspaper that customers who ordered coke were served a mixture of dregs from bottles of Pepsi and Coca Cola, as the manager had told the staff to do this.
