Another year draws to a close . . . Soon, the year 2004 will be but a memory residing in the back of our heads.

Do you make New Year's resolutions? If so, mind sharing some? It might give the rest of us some ideas.

Have a happy Christmahanukwanzaaka! Und habt ein gutes Rutsch ins neues Jahr!

    - Peace, Love, Health, and Happiness to all! Athelwulf.

My resolution is to try to quit cigarettes on January 3rd. And walk UP the steps to my office (it's on the fifth floor). I currently walk down all the steps about 10 times a day, but I've been to lazy to walk up

Btw, quitting smoking is a good resolution. It doesn't give me any ideas, however, kuz I don't smoke.

Anyway, good luck with that resolution. And keep trying with it!

    Me neither...

You should not wait until the end of the year with making changes in your life if something bugs you in your life. Do it yesterday.

My Resolution is to stop being a negative creep and actually do something constructive for my planet.

None whatsoever. I only ever accomplished one resolution--to stop biting my nails. I accomplished this when I was twenty, and I must say that when, at 29, I found myself gnawing on my thumbnail one day, I realized how much freaking better I felt. I still prefer to keep at them with clippers, but that resolution only lasted nine years and actually contributed to my stress level during that period.

Short of that, every other New Year's Resolution I've made has merely been something to invent artful excuses for.

Thus, the odds being against anything positive coming from a New Year's Resolution, I'm skipping it this year.
