Would it be possible for whoever operates this board to create a forum called “Alternative Science” or something similar? It could be a place for people to post all their brilliant new breakthroughs and insights on the nature of space, time, gravity, or whatever that contradict generally accepted scientific thought.
It would give open-minded people a place to discuss radical new ideas, as well as preventing close-minded people like myself from having to constantly sort through crack-pot posts.
I think that this would be a really, really good idea. Anyone else?

I think there is a "PSEUDOSCIENCE" forum already that accounts for it, if you think a post should belong there because you don't think it real science (remember science means "Knowledge") then tell your forum moderator, if you don't like wading through a particular poster, then I believe there is an ignore function you can get to through the control panel, you can then ignore them.

For now I think just using General Science and the Astronomy forums would help with your needs, if you take your particular theory seriously and have facts to back it up. If you don't, then post it under pseudoscience or parapsychology, where it belongs.
Their motto:
We don't need no stinkin evidence!
We don't need no stinkin evidence!
be careful with that:bugeye:
not all of them do

You latvians and your damn double negatives:p
yeah
cool huh?
I've been told that our grammar is the hardest in the world
told so by one guy from Taiwan and one girl from England who happened to be learning latvian after chinese - (she was a daughter of some diplomat in embassy)
looks to me like a secession movement is building up steam.
by happy coincidence, porfiry introduces "user sponsored forums"!

therein lies the solution. new home. a place to crunch numbers to your hearts content without distraction. i suggest mein kamph as a guideline when setting up the forum rules.
ps: this page view is thrashed by the sarcasm dripping off your post
:D
I actually have Mein Kamph at home:D
my father bought it just before it was prohibited to distribute in our country:rolleyes:
ooo, I wouldn't mind reading that. Apparantly it useful for my psychology class. We're gonna be writing a paper on that guy soon
