The other day Republican Representative and Minority House Whip, Eric Cantor pulled another fast one on the American public. He claimed that a bullet was fired at his Richmond campaign office.

Well the Richmond police have a different story after investigating. The police say the bullet in question was fired at the clouds. So unless folks in Richmond like to shoot at specific offices via the cloud route, Mr Cantor and been caught red handed in another lie.

Why does this not suprise me? When I heard Cantor make the claim I thought something was fishy and hoped somebody in the media would do their job and check it out.

Joe joe joe when will you learn, anything the Republicans do thats very bad is also being done by the Democrats. Both sides. in fact the more dirt you dig up on irresponsible Republican behaviour the more you expose how terrible the Democrats are, becasue both sides are at it........apparently. So find nice stuff OK?

Both sides are ignoring the evidence.

Oh really? I don't see Democrats blowing up Abortion clinics, murdering doctors, carrying assault rifles to political rallies despite our long history of political assassinations. Murdering cops at the holocaust museums, setting off bombs at the the Olympic stadium in Atlanta. Please don't compare the Democrats to the party who encourages and commits violence.

What about William Ayers? He's even publicly stated "I don't regret setting bombs...I feel we didn't do enough."

That was over 40 years ago, however your other fellow Republican Timothy McVeigh is another Terrorist that your party spawned with their constant cries of violence whenever the democratic process doesn't work in their favor.

The fact that you had to go back 40 years proves my point. All I have to do is go back a few months at the most. Your side has the overwhelming majority of armed militias and convicted domestic terrorists.

And I should also add that the Weathermen were actually very meticulous about making sure that the buildings they bombed were going to be empty. Furthermore, the climate of Ayers' time period was one in which you very likely could be abducted from your home and shipped off to either a living Hell or to prison for draft evasion. Although their actions were unproductive and irrational, the government was engaged at the time in behavior that would result in massive protests if it were going on now. And I mean larger and more angry than those during the time period, by the way. If the US were to reopen the draft and start sending people overseas today, DC would be in flames by the following morning. Considering how angry the Weathermen were, I think it's to their credit they were as respectful toward human life as they were.

He made the "I feel we didn't do enough" statement on 9/11/01. And there were plenty of wacko dems when Bush was POTUS.

A couple of minor details, One Ayers never set any bombs and he was never convicted of any crimes. Two, Ayers was not a democrat at the time of his affiliation with the group in question and I am do not know is current political affiliation.

But if is funny to me that conservatives have this fixation with Ayers. He is about as relevant to current politics as the man in the moon.

Yeah maybe there were, but none of it is the relevant to the discussion. The issue at hand is Repbulican leadership inspiring acts of violence and caught is subsequent lies.
