Why is it that there was nothing inappropriate with that picture and was meant as a joke to the OP which everyone knew it was except whoever removed it. The obvious question Have you inquired directly with the Free Thoughts moderator? If so, what was the answer?
Photos from that particular site have copyright protection. Try searching for the same photo, to see if it is in another site. (I know this how? Because I received a 20 day ban at another forum, for posting a link to a photo from that site. Needless to say, I did not return).
Hot linking to that site can result in a pretty grotesque image...that is to say - if it's not in your cache. Delete the cache and click the link.
I deleted a number of posts that were infantile and off-topic. Does it really warrant a thread like this?
So it is only YOUR opinion what is considered worthy of posting then, not because of copywright laws, is that correct?

I went back, as I do many times, to see what was said in that thread and if people got a laugh out of my bikini fox girl or not. I liked some of the comments I saw BEFORE they removed the picture and was very surprised when I saw my picture removed . So goes a sense of humor and satire! :shrug:
It was off-topic in a serious thread. And no, I don't think we need these kind of threads (as in threads like the one we're now posting in). In my book it's whining. Knowing the forum rules will make these kind of threads obsolete.

There were no changes. From the forum rules (which are public): 8. Off-topic posts Posts that interrupt a serious thread with inane comments that in the moderator’s opinion do not relate to the original topic will be deleted.
So if you hadnt gone bak to look you woudnt have known you'r post was deleted an mite have continued to make the sam "mistake" of postin on-topic humor in the future.!!!

It's not as disrupting to the thread as that picture was and the replies to it that followed. But you know what? You two can continue whining amongst each other while I'll ignore it. Because at this point what you are doing is just trolling. It's obvious that we are not going to agree, so if you're even half serious about your complaint take it up with an admin.
I wasn't "whining" but only trying to understand why HUMOR can't be used in any thread as long as it is done in a humorous way or satirical way. Satire and humor can't be made to be used exactly with what the thread is all about otherwise that wouldn't be humorous in many instances. By injecting a little levity into a thread doesn't make the topic go away at all but at times enhances what is there.
In this instance I found it distracting from the topic, also because others kept commenting on it, and it was one of the more serious threads in Free Thoughts. It's not like it was a big deal or anything. If it was you would have received a warning. So you have my answer. It's pointless to keep on discussing about it. If you still think you've been done a disservice you should take it up with an admin.
