The question is simple, should genetically altered mutant virus dengue-fever immune mosquitos be released into the homes of people of Florida, to savor?

    From the Oxitec site:
Oxitec’s genetically sterile male Aedes aegypti mosquitoes will mate with the wild (non-sterile) Aedes aegypti females. The offspring that result from this mating of sterile males and wild females will not survive.

The plan only involves releasing effectively sterile males (not actually sterile - they do impregnate the females, but the hatchlings all die).
    Only females feed on blood.
So this isn't about experimenting on people at all.
