Relativity is a widely miscomprehended and complex thing. In fact, you need not only display large amounts of knowledge, but also of logic. Many people thought Einstein had used an example of a rubber sheet and an iron ball placed in the middle to explain gravity, in a way we can comprehend. In reality, space-time is an illusion, and gravity is a force that has nothing at all to do with a 3-dimensional fabric of physical and invisible dimensions. But I am not very studied in relativity or, on a completely other subject, Max Planck's Quantum Theory. In fact, I'm only twelve. But I believe the only way to comprehend such things is to challenge things that don't have sufficient evidence. So I registered here. Please e-mail any thoughts.

The best skill you can cultivate is to learn how to distinguish between what constitutes solid, reproduceable evidence and what is careless, unsupported nonsense. The scientific method is the best way we have to make that distinction that anyone has ever thought of. It isn't 100% perfect, but it is extremely good. Good luck!

I don't know why you say that space-time is an illusion. Space-time is a dynamical entity, and the path of objects thru space-time is along its geodesics Moreover, space-time expands, thus affecting the wavelength of the photons of the CMB
To go off on a tanget, can anyone give a brief explanation of 11 or 13 dimensional physics theory? Nothing too complicated. I just want to know, how do those "extra" dimesions interact with or influence the ones I'm familiar with?
Impressive logic for a 12 year old.. But I advise you to spend less time on the weekends reading einstein and spend more time interacting with others. This social opportunity is only 1x in a lifetime, when you have your whole life to explore these things. These social relationships are the main component and reason of life.

SciGuy, You should allow yourself to become passionate about science but not obsessed. This forum will not help you with that, especially with some people who seem to know everything. I would advise you to play lots of sport and, if any, learn the science behind food and a healthy body.

Definitely need to find a balance between being a bookworm and exploring the universe and having a social life. I learned my last year of highschool... Ironic that my last year of hs was the most fun! Anyway, now whats with this space time is an illusion? I dont even understand what you said, explain.
