I am thinking about rejoining MENSA. I let my membership lapse many years ago because I didn't really see the value in it. What do you think? Is it worth it? Is it worth rejoining to put on my resume?
Depends on where you live. If you live somewhere which frequently has open forums and invites guest authors, scientists, etc to speak to crowds... then it's not worth it. If you don't, it might be. In my experience the only difference between MENSA and others is MENSA members typically are looking to hear experts speak about their fields. And if you can find that without paying dues - then do it.
