What the devil are they?
You click member profiles and underneath the "All post started by (member)" is a "Referrals:2."
And the number is arbitrary. It changes depending on something I have no fucking clue what. What are they?

When you sign up to Sciforums there is an option to mention who reffered you to this place. If they put your name in your number goes up, I think it works this way.. I have 3 refferals but I have no idea who I reffered.

I have one referral. I don't know how. I think "referrals" might be if ... you post a link to SciForums on another message board, every person that follows the link and signs up is one "referral" for you?
Porfiry, you know what they are, right?

Correct. All this is explained in the "Help" topics, as I said.

Well, ya know it would've helped if you'd realized gendanken was too lazy look up the Help section and just came out and told me what Referrals were 10 posts ago.
Thank you.

Ah, but your forget that I'm too lazy to rewrite the help section every time somebody asks about it. So that makes us even.
