I agree that they are overplayed, but I still like their music very much. Is it just me or does Anthony Kiedis not age?

Yeah, the Red Chili's are stimulating in a musical sense. There a very talented band- - and on occasion can put words together quite well. I like 'em.

But they're overplayed, yes. Or should I shay...the good bands are underplayed.

I love new CD, it has those achingly beautiful love songs and then the next song will be this great jam, makes me happy.

Their old stuff is way better than the new stuff by far

It's been interesting to watch the Chili Peppers evolve over the years. I'd be hard pressed to choose a favorite, but I'm really digging By The Way, really awesome disc. And yes, the guys are very talented musically, Frusciante and Flea are insane together.

californication is by far their best album...

Everyone seems to be getting into them again and I really consider the older stuff much better than the newer. My personal favourite song being 'Sikamikanico' with songs like 'Under the Bridge' and 'Fight Like A Brave' coming near the top. By The Way is proof that RHCP are keeping with the times, but I think it blows, sucks and blows. I can't seem to be able to listen to a whole song all the way through. By taking on a newer audience, they're negleting the older, more loyal fans.
The only good song in Californication in my eyes was the title track, 'Californication'.

no way thor... californication is an amazing album all the way from start to finish... superb..

i like the track 'venice queen' best in the new cd.. i do like the new cd a lot.. just wasn't expecting it to be like this...

ohhh.. i hate this band...

its not that i don't think they have some talent, and their songs can fit the mood pretty well sometimes.. just something about their style i think.. im not really sure..... really turns me off to them.

If you like RHCP, go pick up Incubus' "Enjoy Incubus" album (or Fungus Amongus, more songs). As far as I'm concerned it's RHCP style played better than RHCP themselves :D.

I have to agree with this, but only on their "newer" style. It has changed slightly over the years and I still stand by the older one.

by the way is simply the worst album in music histroy, i prefer limp bizkit's CSAHDFW over by the way, and i hate limp bizkit, or should i say limpbizkit, due to there name change,heh

Limp Bizket got a name change???...any way Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Incubus are two bands that have a way with words.

I love them both and i find Californiacation to be a amazing album....still have to hear "By the way"

yea, they changed it to "limpbizkit" no space, i love californication, and BSSM, but i find by the way just a joke, ah and i live incubus

I was at a RHCP concert last saturday!:D!!:D!

They rocked!! When Under the bridge came on, pure audial orgasm.

I like their new album, with songs like Dozed and Cabron:). Californication was pretty good, but their old stuff beats the lot.
