I know ppl love shooter games, but I think this one should get a few more looks at!
Sure, in most any run-and-gun game you can shoot people, get powerful guns, and armor to protect yourself...but in what game can you physically alter the shape of the rooms?

1 "We need a door!"
2 [chunk of rocket]
2 [explosion]
1 "Why did you do that!?!"
2 [points at hole in wall]
2 "Door"

I can't remember what movie that's from...but that's the basic idea.

Also, if you have the game, look for DukeNukem's game...you may need to download the appropriate maps (been using a bunch I've found online...)

Redfaction did pop up in the Gamerz thread some time ago.

Although I thought it a rather novel shooter game, people complained about the "Originality of a shooter game".

Although I was slightly miffed at those guys bearing lazers that could kill you in one shot. F...ing nasty.

Personally, I haven't been here that long, but it's interesting to know I wasn't the first to comment about it...duh.
Anywho, I'm suprised you're not miffed by the uber-gun "Fusion Rocket Cannon".

I thought it was a very good game. Graphics were a bit lacking and the story is a Total Recall rip-off. The Geo-Mod should be incorperated in other games. It'll make it so much more realistic. Max Payne would have been too easy with that.
