Anyone know of any books that are worth purchasing on the subject of Classic and Renaissance Art. Ones that give a history of art in the period, information on some artists, etc. would be nice.

Can you recommend any other art books that are worth checking out, outside of the Classic and Renaissance Art types.

It's a subject I've always wanted to look into but have never found the time up until now.
