The old recipes thread seem sto have vanished, so here's another one.

Shallow fry some deep sea perch fillets. Serve with banana sauce. Very simple, but damn nice.

That reminds me of blissful fried haddock. Mmmm...

When I get the time, I need to post a really awesome recipe for chicken peanut soup. It is the single best soup I have ever had. It's from Africa, but seems reminiscent of Thai food.

Here is one fast and easy.

Take a fish fillet, wash it well. Put it in a bowl, skin side down. Add the juice of one lemon to the fish, add spices of your desire on top of that. Put a few pats of butter over the top of all.

Stick in the microwave and cook till nearly done. Remove.

In a paper cup put 1/2 cup of mayo and some parmesion (?) cheese. Mix well. Spread mixture on fish. Finish cooking in microwave. Normally the fish will cook rather quickly, (no more than 10 minutes) but that will depend on the thickness of the fillet and the power of your microwave.

When I found this recipe I thought it was perfect for people, like me, who just are not sure how to tell when poultry is cooked thoroughly but not dried out. Give this a try.
    BAKED STUFFED CHICKEN

    6-7 lb. chicken
    1 cup melted butter
    1 cup stuffing
    1 cup uncooked popcorn
    salt/pepper to taste

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Brush chicken well with melted butter, salt and pepper. Fill cavity with stuffing and popcorn. Place in baking pan with the neck end toward the back of the oven. Listen for popping sounds. When the chicken's ass blows the oven door open and the chicken flies across the room, it's done.
And, you thought I couldn't cook.

    Boil water.

Add 20-cent package of Mr. Noodles.

Eat half and save rest for later.

    that is SAD

as i am training to be a chef, i thought i better add my 2cents worth

    best fast meal

get some pasta (any sort of NORMAL, not tortaliny or ravioly or whatever)
    1 onion
    1 ration of bacon
    2 cloves of garlic
some butter and some cream (depends on YOU how much you use)

cook the pasta (HOPE you know how to cook pasta)
dice the bacon, garlic and onion and fry in a pot (don't use a frypan because that means more to wash) with the butter (can use oil insted), add the cream and continue to cook while stiring (ok i am explaning this very baddly)

    mix through pasta

    thats it

takes about 10 min to make

edit to add: can add mushrooms and or semmi-dried tomartoes, add just before you add the cream (so they don't cook away to much)
