Could the oil price increases be passed on to cocaine customers?

I hope so! I'd like to see it jump to $5,000 a gram.

Coke prices increases when the government would like a little extra cash to finance more illicit activities.

I do not think your friends would appreciate your being so blase about their profession. You can never be too safe, hun. :)

And it would be interesting if coke went up that far. It would probably be some huge status symbol for rich people, but it would generally destroy the industry. What if the only car you could buy from Dodge was the Viper?

i have many associates, its hardly giving anything away saying my friends are dealers. trident and drug squads have been hounding us for years. saying something over the internet wont change anything. its not like im giving out specific locations or government names.

we dont even communicate on the phones using our real names, or store each others numbers under real names. hell we dont even own home lan lines. the police know i used to sell crack and weed. they know we were involved in gang related activity.

plus when it comes down to it i can always say everything i said on the net was a lie to look cool. and they cant prove anything its hardly court evidence.

You think you've got problems.
With the floods in Britain the price of potatoes this autumn is going to be sky high.

I hope that shit goes up to $5,000/gram, and more. (That's a comma, in case you weren't sure.)

Less drugs = less petty street crimes to finance it, less small-time gang drug dealers squabling over terf.

Less drugs=more demand (you're absolutely stupid if you think that the demand will magically go down). More demand will actually mean MORE attempts to procure it by dealers, which will mean fiercer competition.

The problem is that areas get flooded with drugs, this is from the people (mid-level sellers) who live there, which is usually a small number of people but big impact. Then it gets distributed to street level dealers who's numbers are much larger. Cheap means more availability, more new users, more ruined lives. 80% of illegal drugs in U.S come across Mexican border.

Demand won't "magically" go down. People simply won't be able to afford it (even if they turn tricks or rob liquor stores.) They'll be forced to quit cold-turkey, and the demand will go down.

Turf wars occur when there's an abundance of supply. There are too many dealers competing for the same customers. When supply is low (which would be the reason for such rise in the price in the first place) there are less dealers around to fight over turf.

Let's assume there is no shortage of supply, but for some reason the price is still that high - demand will drop because most will not be able to afford to buy it, but since the price of production is still so large, it would be uneconomical to supply it. Coke usage will drop.
