I use quite a few renderers but still love POVray (first started using when I was about 15, I'm 30 now). It seems to be one of the nicest free ones I have seen to date. Just wondered how many people here are interested in raytracing and what you use. I am more concerned with free ones (although I have some fine proprietary ones).

Some home comp rendered stuff is almost indistinguishable from photos these days. What's your fav you have seen?

I like these, amazing how home comp with little power can produce such results

I use Adobe Toolkit, but we are moving to Deep Exploration.

That looks real to me, blender is pretty good though as is yafray (however it's not up to vray/mental standard).
