A small bug--- probably either one of those little red spider mites, or (please god no) a roach has gotton trapped under my LCD flatscreen here in my cubicle. The little thing has been running in random little circles, and apparently can't get out.
I can't smush it because it's behind the backlit glass panel under the liquid. Not only that, but if I kill it, then there will be this little permanent bug stain.


All I can do it wait for it to get out the same way it got in........... it's driving me crazy though. It's the same size as a period, so it totally throws off how uniform the screen looks, and makes sentences look weird whenever it stops moving.

Now doesn't this 'type style' rant make you feel better :) come on get ranting!

I hate double standards, especially when they concern important issues like racial and gender equality, and yet are ironically held in the name of political correctness.

I hate douchebag liberals that are so politically correct that they refuse to admit that a certain attitude which would be deemed politically incorrect is still an important consideration when considering policy. So, instead of actually discussing the truth, they come up with all sorts of illusory tangents that have the same effect yet totally sidestep the issue.

What caused me to consider this?

On a related tangent, girls in school who shout "I LOVE YOU!" at each other across the hallway are so annoying, for a few reasons. One is because they're so fucking loud. Another is because they're taking the words and using them so fucking casually, which takes away the meaning of the words. Another is because only girls can do it and still pass for straight; if a guy shouts "I LOVE YOU!" at another guy, it's usually assumed that they're gay. And finally, it just mocks female homosexuality.

Here are a few of mine:
1) I hate the tenure system. It allows totally incompetent people to stand in front of a class under the guise of "teaching." It provides no incentive for improvement or growth, so progress stagnates and is replaced with apathy. These so-called "professors" get paid with my tuition money, and they waste class time that I otherwise could have used for actual learning. It's a straight-up tort.

2)People who use the fuck word in every sentence. How fucking hard is it to think of something a little more fucking intelligent to say? There are many other fucking words you can choose, and it doesn't fucking impress anyone.

The idiocy of local councils. Seriously, who decided that a historic market town needed a large white shiny bridge? It goes from the train station (fair enough) to the edge of a main road (WTF). For just a few hundred thousand pounds more it could have gone somewhere useful, like OVER THE ROAD and into town. It does not fit the surrounding architecture at all, and they're supposed to be protecting that! They also widened (and paved, badly, so that old people trip up and weeds grow between the cracks) the pavements in the secondary high street, which got rid of parking, which got rid of customers, which closed 4 shops. They even put bollards there to negate the extra space on the pavements (which was unneccesary anyway). They also planted trees, in pots (again, large wooden bullshit ones which do not fit the surroundings and cost needless amounts of money), without protective fences OUTSIDE A PUB. What did they think was going to happen, honestly? Needless to say, now there are no trees.

I really hate people who forget what you did for them. There's been so many people I've helped out, and been friendly with when nobody else liked them or talked to them. Then all of a sudden they get confidance and NEVER SPEAK TO ME AGIAN! Its great they feel better now, but they don't need to start acting like they're better than me.

Another thing that bugs me is the stereotype about teenagers, esspacially more "alternative" looking ones. I go out for a walk and people stare at me like I'm going to attack them. I go into a store and I get watched by the owner. This wouldn't bug me so much, but none of this happens when I'm dressed like a prep.

People who start threads, saying something like " I have taken it upon myself to do what no man has done before me and attempt to unravel the human mind" when a bazzillion men for a bazillion yrs have been doing just that.

I agree with dragon on this one, evil is entirely interpretive. I suppose, speculatively, evil is something we create so that we can create good, so we can keep people in line. Evil is "wrong", it is what we don't want done. But it's entirely a point of view, and I can prove it.

We, the USA, believe strongly that the Terrorist Regime's are wrong, entirely, in what they believe in and what they do. We believe it is "evil" to blow yourself up and kill hundreds if not thousands of people, we believe it evil to hijack a vehicle and fly it into a building, killing hundreds if not thousands of people.

They, on the other hand, find all those things good. They feel that doing that makes them glorious in the name of Allah, which is why they do it. Simultaneously, they think that what we stand for, equal rights, democracy, rule by the people, is evil and so they oppose us.

Here is my rant: I have a deep anger for elitists (people who are in thier delusional minds, above everyone else for one reason or another) Beware the elitists, they are no better than Hitler!

I hate the people who take longer to be done with something because they know someone else is waiting. Like when you go to Wal-mart and you are waiting for a parking place. Look someone is pulling out. Where? Right there, see them? So you pull up close enough the take the space but not too close so that they can't pull out. Then it happens. They notice you waiting for "their" space. And you wait...and wait...People will deliberity take longer to pull out of a parking place when they know someone else is waiting for it. If there were no one waiting for it, then that same person would start the engine, put it in reverse, and pull out within 1 and a half minutes or less. This has been proven with public phones also. A video camera filmed a public phone booth. The average phone call on that phone took aprox. 4 minutes. However whenever there was another person waiting in line to use that phone, the average call then took 23 minutes. Its a power trip. That's what it is...a freaking power trip. Okay I hate power trippers.
And another thing. Why is it that the only person in line at the traffic light who does not know that the light has turned green is the first person in line? I don't get it.

I hate the fact that I have physics exam on this friday. The more I think about it, the more I get frustrated. I can´t study for it, as soon as I look at my textbooks, I get the urge to kill someone. Hello Geoff I'd like to say I am not a fan of your post, children already get too much attention. Look at it from another angle; they get free education from tax dollars (the same overweight gits' taxes), only for the little nutters to quit school or become a looser in future. The same sane and loving parents that you see in public with their children are not the same people at their homes, the parents are usually drunk or abusive while the kids are usually destroying the furniture or doing some real low I.Q stuff. So why therefore should I have to be over considerate about either of these two fuckers for that matter, I never asked you to have a kid, and most babies are usually never planned for, sometimes its the case of some lady forgetting to put on their diaphragm. Its traceable that Most parents never consider their socio-economic position before having sex, before having a baby, and before over populating the community. My rant(s): I used to be THAT good with words, now I can barely read a couple pages without going over each paragraph 5 times and even then I have to make annotations to remind myself what was it that I was reading that caught my attention.

Actually, I was pointing out your use of a question mark with a sentence that reads as a statement. I don't mean to be nit-picky, but it's one of those little pet peeves.

"I wonder..." is a statement to me – you are saying that you've been wondering where existabrent was. I read "I wonder..?" with a question mark at the end with an inflection characteristic of most questions. Saying "I wonder..?" is basically "Do I really wonder..?".
