Honestly, I'm so tired of walking past people that apparently like having their pants hang off their asses and expose their underwear or diapers. Is it supposed to be "cool" and "hip"? Well, it's not. The people that matter, the intelligent and sophisticated, don't consider it "cool" or "hip" or "fashionable". What's fashionable is looking sophisticated, intelligent, and clean. Seriously. Anyone else agree? I'm just ranting, sure, but really, I don't understand why people, especially the youth, consider it "cool". It's not. Now, it's your life and you can do whatever you want......that's true.......but please, do the appropriate thing. Hopefully no one here does this, and y'all agree with me. Please, wear a belt, get a better fitting shirt, and get a haircut, gentleman. And pull them up! Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
This phenomenon happens in ghetto/poor areas of the neighborhood where lack of money is substituted by overwhelming high of confidence resulting from one being born with a large penis.
It can be a pain when your pants keep sliding down but i love these jeans out now because they are very comfortable.
I personally hate the style as well and thankfully it is slowing dying out, but I really shouldn't complain because it was this era of fashion that brought about the return of the low rise jeans for women which I absolutely love and could not do without. So I just try not to look. I do that with every other fashion I hate, like flip flop sandals.
It's not to you. It is to them. How much spare time do you have on your hands that you get so irritated by something so insignificant?
I can only hope you are joking. But it doesn't work as a joke since it happens wherever people imitate trends coming out of inner cities: iow the suburbs for example. So you'll have to run around with your ruler and measure rich white boy dicks too.
I find it irritating also. But it is one amongst many fashion statements that bother me. A big pet peeve: high heels. I can feel their spines slowly disintegrating.
Of course I get irritated.......because I live with other people in this mass city of mine, and so I will get irritated by the things they do. It's a stupid fashion "statement".......and it's not proper. Here's a sophisticated man Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! I see someone standing like that with that expression on his face and I think 'moron' or maybe 'wanker'.
I think fashion is important......I'm very quick to judge people based on their appearance. And if I were an employer, I wouldn't even begin to ponder hiring you if you came to my store sagging your pants, with a stupid shirt, and sloppy look. You have to look sharp.
So you want freedom, just no diversity - okay I think I get it. You should express your concern to the people who present themselves like this. They probably don't know what fools they look like and would love for you to point it out to them. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
Oh, I do. Especially at work. And being the prude that I am, I do occasionally ignore people that are rude and I can tell that they are rude by the way that they dress. Diversity? I want diversity to an extent.......but too much of it means no society.
Anyone see that old guy sing "Pants on the ground" on Idol? Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BkeAzqhlkNk&feature=related
True, but it's gone mainstream now with the younger generation. The "skater" culture has embraced this fully. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
