Depends on the purity. For most purposes, the residue is minimal. Ethanol is safer, though.

I worked with 98% pure isopropanol in printing. It was in canada in a place the door got left open a lot and it would still evaporate and leave nothing(in fact some times take whatever ink was in it - as was it's purpose).

That's correct. The only residue left will be impurities from the manufacturing process.

Nope, its a hepatotoxin and prolonged exposure to it (through inhalation or skin) can cause liver failure.

As far as I know, the most potent liquor legal in the US is Everclear, and in its strongest variety it is 190 proof - and it is illegal in some states.
It tastes pretty damned nasty is is incredibly potent.

One shot...
First your lips get warm, then the rest of your mouth, and you can feel the warmth slowly travel down your esophagus into your body - it's a very strange sensation.
That warmth is followed by an almost instant numbness that follows the same path.
The second shot isn't nearly as bad, since your whole face, mouth and tastebuds are numb by then.
I have a high tolerance, but three shots was enough to seriously fuck me up.
Most people I know get drunk from one shot.
