Question about the Lynx browser

    First of all, someone tell me how to get to google with lynx, for a start ...

    Wow, lynx. They still make that? Is it still a text only browser? Or has it been upgraded to gui? Can't help you. I remember playing around with it a bit in the early 90's...

    Lynx -- ie links with frames.

    I've played with a little that I time I destroyed x... what problems are you having? The best way to learn it is to play around and read the documentation, but if you want a fast and detailed response, you should post this question in the software section at http://linuxquestions.org. They know 1000x more than me...

    at the prompt just type : lynx www.google.com

    and to go to a different site, type `g' and the URL
    (Also try w3m, I find it a little better)
