Does anyone have any recommendations for a good Quantum Electrodynamics book? I've had calculus and am just interested in learning about it.

if you only have calculus (and not also complex analysis, ODEs, PDEs, linear algebra, etc..), then you are not ready for a full fledged QFT textbook.

however, i have heard many great things about Feynman's "A Strange Theory of Light". it is aimed just for someone just at your level. give it a try, and if you like it, then shoot for a more advanced treatment.

Read a book called 'Inward Bound' by Abraham Pais. It is a non-technical (i.e. minimal math) about the history of quantum theory and the physics of the small. This should give you a good outline of why we need something like a quantum theory of fields, since from the outside it may not seem totally nessesary.

You will enjoy QED, by Richard Feynman. It takes you from basic concepts right into QED. It is a great little book. It usually in stock at B&N and certainly at Amazon.
