http://www.sciforums.com/profile.php?do=editlist Alongside each member's ignore list is a buddy list. I have added a few people on this list but haven't noticed any special features. The only thing I've noticed is the user's username has a plus sign after it under Currently Active Users on the main page and on this page. What should I know about this buddy list? Does it have features that are currently disabled? Is it something we want?
Once the other party reciprocates and places you on thier buddy list a bond is formed between you that bridges space and time....forever! So choose wisely.
It also furnishes you with their home address, bank account details and engages the mutual telepathy option.
Could I control what they do too? Like, could I make them put on a red tutu and slam their face on their keyboard to the tune of "God Save the Queen"?

Threads cannot die. Till they are locked. But even then they can exert a sphere of influence. well, some dead people can do that too! Like Rottie.
I presume the buddy list is like an online address book; clicking on your buddy list would give you quick access to the members' PM or AIM or messenger.
It jus aint workin for me. I added SAM but i dunno what I've done really :-/ but then SUCCESS! i ignored Q but he wouldnt let me...grrrrrrrrrr!
wait till you are as old as i am, you might do just that. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
yes. how do you think spuriousmonkey controls me (if you listen to all the hype...in fact, i hate that dutch fuck)?
I have interesting pictures of you and a sheep which accidentally could end up on the internet. is that how I could control you?
Can you send private messages to everyone on your buddy list at the same time? If so, how? If not, why not?
No you can send private messages to everyone on your buddy list using the list itself. You can enter up to 5 people manually (At least that's the limit for moderators) Should an update occur to the forum software there will be a lot of changes, depending on course what the Administration decides should be permitted or not. Currently a Vanilla version of this forum software would allow creation of groups where the leader of that group can administer who is in it and message the whole group (I believe), as well as having an Album for photo upload and the ability to use a Shoutbox under your user panel.
Thanks for the reply, Stryder. I get an error message when I try to send a PM to multiple people. It says I am only allowed to send to one person at a time. Is there a setting that I can use to change the number of people I can PM?
