This post is spurred by my observations of the behavior of people claiming to be psychologists and psychiatrists.

These people claim to be experts in what they do. Their behavior does not corroborate these claims. Everyone has asked for proof of my Happeh Theory. Let's see some proof from these other "professionals".

You know I do not believe in certificates or recommendations. Anyone's friend will give them a recommendation. Any Xerox printer can make a degree to put on the wall. The only real way to know anyone for sure is to test them yourself.

My test of the credentials or the claimed expertise of these various people is very simple and comes in the form of one simple question.

Do you believe that the problems treated by psychiatry or psychology are all in the mind? That is to say, do you believe it is the brain only that is involved in mental problems?

I do not want to hear about chemical reactions. I do not want to hear about genetic this and that. I don't want to hear about major trauma. "Of course a quadruple amputee will have mental problems!".

I want a straight answer to the question. Does psychology or psychiatry only involve the mind? Is the treatment of mental problems only the treatment of the mind or brain?

In my case answer on last questions are NO, NO.

How could somebody who didn't experienced trauma or other psychological distress get a diploma? How would you know the taste of an apple if you didn't taste it?
When I went to school I just study basic things, I learn something but I was not really interested. When I went to high school I really didn't know what I want to be. I chose a profession of a steel forger or something like that. I don't know English word for my occupation. While I was studying I also learn how to be a steel forger and how to work on machines. I tasted how is to work with, because I was actually working with my hands and feelings, I lived a work.
Psychologists or Psychiatrists claims they are professionals with all kind of degrees. Do they have any kind of experiences on emotional level? Did they went thru emotions like clients went? I'm sure you could learn some things, but before you do you will have to work with this peoples in mental hospitals, first.
Is this a Happeh theory? Maybe I didn't understand correctly, my English is not the best.

Yeah I really dont know what to say about psychology and psychiatry. To me these are very very blurry 'sciences'. Not even. To me they are __studies__ based on some 'science'. And the methods that they employ on their patients are frankly unbelievable. They used to use all these electro shock therapies and all that bullshit. Not only is that inhumane, but it shows that they practice such stupid acts based on superficial and shallow understanding of science. They used to remove sections of patients brains based on neurology correlating which part of the brain does what, to reduce symptoms, I mean come on!
